Who would be the audience for your media product?




The JICNAR scale

Because my magazine is aimed at 12- 18 year old so the younger generation who may or may not be in work i think that if they were in the social status of D or C2. This is because my magazine is still aimed at people in education who may have part- time jobs. However because my magazine has many different features as other magazines it could appeal to other people prior to my target audience, because of the use of popular bands and artist so could appeal to someone in the C1 or B. 

Because my target audience is 12 - 18 year old, this means that most of my target audience are still in school and do not not work. However some might have part- time job if there 16 or maybe even full time jobs at 18. Because i have valued my target audience at being C2 and D. Teenagers normally will socialize with there friends and because mine are all girls they will go round each others houses and paint their nails and have sleepovers. I think that they would spend their money on magazines and music and food, so this is a good target audience because they have so much disposable income.
